The ICC has unveiled the prize money for the Champions Trophy 2025, significantly boosting the tournament’s prize pool by 53% from that of 2017 as the event makes its return after eight years.

For Champions Trophy 2025 ICC has revealed ‘Prize Money Winners to get “WHOPPING” Rs 19.45 Crore. Each of the eight teams participating in the ICC Champions Trophy- 2025 will receive $34,000 for every match they win.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the prize money for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, significantly boosting the tournament’s prize pool as it makes its return after eight years. Notably, the total prize fund has surged by 53% compared to the 2017 edition, now standing at $6.9 million (approximately Rs 59.93 crore).
The ICC has announced that the Champions Trophy 2025 winners will receive a grand prize of $2.24 million (approximately Rs 19.45 crore). Moreover, the teams losing the semifinals are going to get $560,000 (approximately Rs 4.8 crore).
Notably, the total prize money for the 2017 Champions Trophy, which Pakistan won under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed, was $4.5 million, where the winner received $2.2 million.
Each of the eight teams in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will receive $34,000 (approximately 29.5 lakh) for every match they win.
This tournament marks Pakistan’s first time hosting an ICC event since 1996. The 2025 edition will feature eight teams divided into two groups of four, with the top two from each group progressing to the semi-finals.
India, Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, England, Afghanistan and Bangladesh are the teams participating in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
