Ranbir’s Controversial Comment on Aishwarya

Ranbir Kapoor’s Immediate Clarification
Realizing his comment’s backlash, Ranbir promptly responded to clarify his stance. He emphasized that his words had been misinterpreted and that he held Aishwarya in the highest regard. Addressing the controversy, Ranbir stated, “Aishwarya is one of India’s most talented and respected women. I will always be grateful for her contribution to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. I could never disrespect her like that.”
He reiterated that he saw Aishwarya as a family friend and had the utmost respect for her professionalism. Interestingly, Ranbir and Aishwarya’s association dates back to Aa Ab Laut Chalen (1999), which was directed by his father, Rishi Kapoor. While Aishwarya played the leading lady in the film, Ranbir worked as an assistant director. This connection made their collaboration in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil even more special.
Although Ranbir’s comment was likely meant in jest, it unintentionally stirred controversy and upset the Bachchan family.
