Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in France on Monday morning and attended a dinner hosted by his friend French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace. PM Modi first participated at the AI summit and then headed to accompany Emmanuel Macron at the dinner party. Macron welcomed Modi with a warm hug.
Mr Macron has shared a video on X that shows Modi entering the Elysee Palace and wrote on X ” Welcome to Paris, my friend @narendramodi.”
PM Modi has also shared amazing moments of pictures with Emmanuel Macron on his X page and captioned it ” Delighted to meet my friend, President Macron in Paris. @EmmanuelMacron“.
Modi Meets JD Vance
At the dinner hosted by the French President, Nodi also met other World leaders. He met JD Vance after his oath as the Vice President. They will also be attending the AI Summit which will have the global leaders and tech CEOs indulging in various discussions. The Prime Minister’s office page on X also shared photos of the three leaders interacting with each other at the Welcome dinner.
As Modi landed in Paris, the Indian community people residing there welcomed him with enthusiasm. The pictures shared on X show him waving at the people welcoming him. He shared these photos on his X page and wrote ” A memorable welcome in Paris! The cold weather didn’t deter the Indian community from showing their affection this evening. Grateful to our diaspora and proud of them for their accomplishments!”. This is PM Modi’s sixth visit to France.
In his departure statement, Modi revealed the important purpose of this bilateral segment. He said that this would provide an opportunity to review the progress on the 047 Horizon Roadmap for India-France strategic partnership along with French President Macron.
PM Modi’s Scheduled Plan
After attending the AI Summit today, Modi and Macron will Visit Marseille where the latter will host a dinner in honor of PM Modi. Tomorrow both leaders will visit the Mazargues War Cemetery at Marseille, where they will pay tribute to the soldiers who died during World War 1. The two leaders will also jointly inaugurate the Consulate General of India in Marseille
Modi will conclude his France visit with a significant visit to Cadarache, which is a site known for housing the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor. This is a major collaborative Scientific project aimed at creating clean nuclear fusion energy, in which India is one of the Key partners.
The AI Summit
Summit will be held today in Paris, bringing together Global leaders and Tech CEOs to discuss the future of AI. The Summit aims to promote what may prove vital in shaping the future of the Global economy. cooperation on the responsible and ethical use of AI technologies.
